At the moment I am working on consumer culture and practices of consumption as forms of material culture in the specific context of contemporary Euro-American societies. In the past I have worked on the anthropology, geography and sociology of food consumption. I am fascinated by everything which becomes a mass society phenomenon.
Although I have a degree in sociology, my academic background is quite multidisciplinary, and my approach to social sciences is for better or worse, affected by this. |
