ADPSS-Sociodata is one of the most important Data Archive for the Social Sciences present in the Italian universities. Its aim is promoting social sciences data exchange, sharing and analysis.

It’s constituted in the 1999 as a joint project between ADPSS (Archivio Dati e Programmi per le Scienze Sociali) – founded in 1970 at the Istituto Superiore di Sociologia of Milan – and Sociodata, a laboratory of social sciences constituted in 1997 in the Sociological Department of Milan University (Faculty of Political Sciences). Currently, Adpss-Sociodata works inside the Department of Sociology and Social Research of the University of Milan – Bicocca.
